MEDITATION and VISALISATION
Never underestimate the power of your imagination. Through guided meditation, or visualisation, you can gain incredible insights into your self, the workings of the Universe and much more. Imagery and symbolism are ways of sharing information that words sometimes cannot express eloquently or adequately enough.

The mind is not a vessel to be filled but a fire to be kindled. |
To be effective there are two key things, relaxing and quietening the noisy brain. The first is much easier than the second. It really helps if you are in a peaceful environment, not under any time pressure and able to sit or lie comfortably. Try to have a straight back and uncrossed legs. Have plenty of water to drink nearby.
When you visualise you need allow images, words, feelings and sound drift into your mind without trying to make them appear as you would want them to look. Become the observer watching and noting how you feel, any emotions and sensations that you experience. Everyone has one sense to utilise that is especially accurate and receptive. If your mind wanders and becomes distracted, gently and kindly bring it back to focus.
NOTE on using meditation for HEALING yourself
As with any energy healing, meditation, energy healers and other methodologies facilitate your healing. You heal yourself, calling on assistance in the healing process and allowing it to happen. Subconscious resistance impedes the healing process as do other variables. Mainstream medicine is available if you feel it is necessary and appropriate in your healing process. Meditation will assist you, allowing your body to relax, help your body heal itself and to let go of the emotional trauma.

Image Insight
Image Insight is a good way to stimulate your creativity and interpretative abilities. It is even better when done as part of a group so that insights can be shared. You will need a blank piece of paper, a pen and glass of drinking water.
If you have a specific question you can write it on the paper. Then crumple the paper into a ball and hold it in your hands.

Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths
Draw in pinky red Earth energy through your feet and golden white Spirit energy through your crown Let the golden white energy flow out of your crown and surround yourself in a cocoon of light Ask your guides and Higher Self for an insight, or ask your question Imagine light filling you paper ball until it becomes a glowing orb in your hands Hold your ball of paper as it glow brilliantly for a few minutes When it feels appropriate, bring yourself back into your physical body, into the room and this reality Imagine yourself as a deeply rooted tree Drink plenty of fresh water |
Unfold your paper and look for images, even words, among the creases. Use your pencil to outline these and/or rub a crayon lightly over the paper to help you see them. Let your imagination go! Make notes on the spare paper as you go along and then contemplate what you find and its realtion to your question.
