PATTERNS, IMAGES and MEANINGS
Who isn't fascinated by the world we live in and who doesn't question what life is all about at some point in their lives? The patterns underlying life have always fascinated me. As an artist and mathematician I enjoy analysing the structure and form of reality, the nature of consciousness and the Mind, the power of intent, the purpose and power of symbolism and sacred geometry in particular. My writing is based on extensive research into a wide range of subjects covering the different cultures, the Sciences, Arts and belief systems as I endevour to blend logic, creativity and intuition in my work.
Underpinning my writing is many years of research, which is an activity I relish. Getting a coherent piece of writing together that distills large quantities of information traversing the disciplines, cultures, years of history... and presenting it in a sensible format, now that is the hard part of being an athour! The end product is a wonderful result, especially after years of effort. All your positive comments and interest in my work are also rewarding and contribute greatly to maintaining my efforts in producing The Gateway Series books. Sometimes a passing remark ends up in a book and this in turn helps many other readers.
Research addicts will know how easy it can be to never feel you have gathered enough together. There is always more to be done and sometimes a 'golden nugget' appears just as you think you have done enough. I have had to accept that it is not possible for me to know of, or about, everything in my field of interest. So all the products of my writing will evolve over the years and can never really be complete. What I do hope is that they motivate you into digging and delving as well.
As you will know I absolutely love images. Firstly, as they are a key theme of my work and also because they convey so much that words cannot express. I use them prolifically to illustrate key points and finding suitable illustrations is a challange, which is why I want to extend my gratitude to all those people who put their excellent images out into the public domain.
